Caribbean on Alert for New Hurricane or Tropical Storm...

Follow
Mr. Weatherman

The Caribbean is on alert for a hurricane of tropical storm approaching later this week. It is not definite that a major system moves in, but it is highly likely a significant system will be at least nearby late week.

With that, if you are in and around these locations, please be on high alert:
Dominican Republic, Puerto Rico, USVI, BVI, Saba, Station, St. Martin/Maarten, Antigua and Barbuda, St. Barts, Montserrat, St. Kitts & Nevis, Anguilla, Guadeloupe, Dominica, and Martinique.

Depending on the track, we could have tropical storm or hurricane impacts in these areas later this week. Again, this is NOT locked in. It is still early in the forecast, but I am giving the EARLY heads up for safety sake.

The European Model has this as a Category 2 or 3 hurricane, just north of the Northeast Caribbean (I expect changes in this). The American Model has this as a tropical storm, moving through the Northeast Caribbean (again, there will be changes).

While I spend the next few days finetuning where this system may go (let's hope it misses), please spread this video and channel to at least get out the alert & awareness.

Thank you for caring for others! Brian
