Caring Caps. Changing the world, one stitch at a time. That's what we're all about. Caring Caps teaches people from all ages and walks of life that are interested how to knit. We mainly work with children, teens, and people with disabilities. We also supply our volunteers with a loom, yarn, and any other supplies and tools they need. People can volunteer from anywhere in the world. Once our knitters have knitted a good amount of items, they ship them to our headquarters in Florida. From there, we distribute our items mainly to midwiferies, children's hospitals, and orphanages in developing nations. Caring Caps has sent items to Haiti, Jamaica, Brazil, Romania, the Philippines, Uganda, Nicaragua, and Uganda, We have collectively knitted 3,750 items and have 250 active volunteers. In our eyes, the little gifts that we can give those less fortunate can sometimes truly have the most impact.
