Monday August 5 2024 at 8.28. The 7.47 Lincoln to Nottingham (8.40) train. Came here in the evening rush hour 10 years ago and filmed a poor video from a long way back:    • Carlton Level Crossing   This time, in the morning rush hour, there wasn't a problem. The boarded up building right at the start was Anagas House last time I was here and had been a mortuary. It was demolished and the new building opened as "The Crossing Social Club" for railway workers 7 years ago. Maybe Covid finished it. The crossing had been renewed not long before I last came so it looks the same. The train has improved considerably though. The traffic camera probably stopped working long ago. It looks like one of British Railways originals from when there were gates here.
