This video is a carnation flower painting tutorial for beginners. Today's technique is a onestroke painting using an Angular brush.

■Brushes
Angular brush 1/2

■Acrylic colors
Titanium white
Fucsia
Leaf green
Burnt umber

■How to hold and move the brush
1 Hold brush at 45 degrees.
2 Dampen the brush slightly.
3 Apply two colors of paint to the left and right corners of the brush.
4 Move the brush back and forth on the palette.
5 Walk the brush left and right as indicated by the arrows.
6 Continue until the colors in the center of the brush are blended.
7 Hold brush vertically.
8 Slowly lower the brush onto the paper.
9 Move the brush gently up and down.
10 Lift the brush. Finished.
