!! DISCLAIIMER: This video is not meant to offend anybody of any nationality or ethnicity, nor is it meant to mock any of the countries portrayed. I couldn’t find somebody from every country to give every design the okay, but I consulted multiple people who live in over a dozen of said countries in an attempt to make sure I was correctly portraying that country’s culture through its national dress or clothing style. Portrayal of culture is very sensitive and needs to be done properly, and as a person who is not Hispanic, I tried to get a voice from every country to give their input, but at the end of the day I wasn’t able to retrieve somebody from the less populated states. The designs are not intended to make fun of the countries; they are just meant to reflect their culture without commentary on anything about the country’s political, financial, or social situation.

This was a huge project! Thank you to everyone who participated. This MAP was really kind of a dream of mine and you guys helped make it come true in the best way possible Latin America doesn’t get a lot of attention in the countryhumans fandom, so I figured I should make use of this song and host a project to celebrate some of the more underrepresented states.

Also, as for the release date, I am well aware that Mexico is really the only country that celebrates Cinco de Mayo, but it was the closest feasible deadline goal for it to be released on a holiday celebrated by Hispanic and Latino peoples. I didn’t want to make everyone wait for Hispanic Heritage Month, so this seemed like the best option!

I am also aware that several of the countries in this video aren’t technically “Hispanic,” but I wanted to give representation to the entire region around the Caribbean, Central America, and South America, because this project is about inclusivity.

I originally translated them by myself with my own knowledge of the Spanish language because Google Translate literally sucks and cannot get grammar right. I'm not sure why I didn't have enough braincells to realize that I could have just found an actual translation written by a human being who was fluent in Spanish. Whoops. I translated them pretty accurately on my own given that I've been learning Spanish for a few years now (but I think it's necessary to point out that the American education system doesn't put much emphasis on foreign language because we're incredibly selfcentered lmfao) but I just feel big dumb. Anyways—
