Case Decision: FCRA-Standing-Level of Allegations-Must Read Cases -- Burns v Warehouse (S Carolina)

Follow
Alabama Consumer Protection Lawyers

This recent (August 19, 2019) FCRA Fair Credit Reporting Act case is interesting for three reasons:

1. It shows again how the defendants so often attack your ability to be in federal court in what's known as a "standing" or "Spokeo" challenge

2. Shows a silly argument by the defendant that you have to allege things you can't know before you get the defendant swearing under oath

3. A good reminder to always read the cases cited by the other side

Hope you enjoy and thanks so much for watching!
