Arun Goyat - Advocate, Punjab & Haryana High Court

The state of Rajasthan Vs. Phool Singh

Judgment delivered by 2 judge bench, written by Justice Sudhanshu Dhulia on 2 September, 2022.

Case of a policeman who is dismissed by the department in disciplinary proceedings. As he was acquitted in the criminal case on the same set of facts, the case is for reinstatement in service.
Supreme Court of India said Merely because a person has been acquitted in a criminal trial, he cannot be ipso facto reinstated in service.

क्योंक उसी घटना में आपको निर्दोष घोषित किया गया है एक अपराधिक मामले में, उसका यह मतलब नहीं की आपको वापिस रखा ही जाए नौकरी में।
