Cass Sunstein '78, Robert Walmsley Professor of Law, delivered a talk on his most recent book, "The Ethics of Influence: Government in the Age of Behavioral Science". In his talk, Sunstein explores government policies designed to nudge desired behavior in areas such as consumer and environmental protection—and also when nudges turn into ethically impermissible manipula­tion.
