Finally left the marina and headed solo in the Sea of Cortez, no wind, lumpy seas and a 51 mile passage to San Evaristo, a remote fishing village. Here for 3 days hiding from a big northerly blow. It starts at 2.30 in the morning and blows like stink. Two big trawlers also take shelter in the anchorage. Not much sleep, wind eases but still bowing 20 knots at day break and will be all day. Boat swinging around a lot.
