I fished a small river for the first time and ended up catching some big chub on a tenkara rod. The fish increased in size with each one that i hooked until eventually the rod snapped, mainly due to my inexperience and poor technique at handling large fish. This channel was created to document my journey into leaning to fish with the Tenkara method, and I’m still very much a beginner.
