A lot of hunters practice with 22lr to save money on Ammo. There also also a ton of competition shooters / plinking competitions. 22’s are cheap to shoot, fun and great to learn on as well as keep up with shooting basics for cheap! I have been trying to get the best accuracy with a out of the box rifle. I chose the Savage mkii and Nightforce optic. I had been shooting CCI standard and Minimag, but at 100yds the groups are terrible. Recently, I was told of Lapua CenterX.
