Cedar Strip Waw Velomobile Rebuild Ep 12 - installing e-assist

Follow
Northland Velo

So now after all that rebuild work to reduce weight and improve aerodynamics, I decided to install eassist and use the velomobile for commuting. For those considering the install, the hardest part is removing any existing bottom bracket (which may or may not be slightly stuck) and installing the motor in its place. Beyond that it's a matter of connecting some cables and ziptying things in place. This is a fairly basic explanation of the parts and process as a general guideline. No doubt there are more thorough instructional videos on youtube including videos of how to set the speed at which the assist cuts out. Feel free to ask questions in the comments.
