Upon finding a damaged Baltimore and Ohio Chessie System # 8463 Diesel in a junk pile, John Long Silver explains how he repaired the hand rail for the GP20 locomotive. From there, he taps this newest addition to his collection to pull a Lionel Spirit of '76 set of 13 original state box cars. These colorful cars from the MPC era are packed with historical information such as state capitals, mottos, trees and more.

These boxcars and a special caboose were designed to celebrate the bicentennial anniversary of the USA in 1976.
