In this video I swap the stock tubes in my Mesa Boogie Dual Rectifier. I was curious if changing the preamp tubes would make any noticeable difference in tone to my ears, or if this was simply more hype. Well spoiler alert, the difference is subtle but very noticeable.

I removed the stock 12AX7s and replaced them with the JJ tubes in this order.
