I've nearly finished my long list of logo histories on the ITV affiliates and this video takes a look at the idents from Channel Television (now ITV Channel Television). Launched on 1st September 1962, this was the ITV franchise for the Channel Islands. They received their programmes from microwave relay station on Alderney, Guernsey. They were the last ITV franchise to receive colour in 1976. My next logo history video will look at the idents from Yorkshire Television, then the next video after that will be Carlton Television, then the last ITV affiliate logo history video will look at ABC (195668) and Associated Rediffusion.
