In this charcoal pencil tutorial, I show you how to draw a simple still life suitable for beginners.

** Materials Used in This Lesson **
Pencils: Dark/black charcoal pencil (best to have a couple to work between) and a white charcoal pencil.
Paper: any midtoned drawing paper (I use a midgrey but a midblue, green or tan would work too). I use a paper by Strathmore.
Other: a bending stump, craft knife, sanding block (or piece of sandpaper).
