Some time ago a friend of mine made a present – a siphon for carbonating water at home. I don’t like syrups, but I like a sparkling water. And also I began to make home cider. And I get really tasty homemade champagne. Only the price for the siphon bulbs become not friendly.
According the actual prices for new CO2 bulbs at the officials I got 1 litre at 4060 roubles (more than a 1 US dollar!) It is easier to by soda water in the shop… I found a solution for myself – I decided to connect a big CO2 balloon to the siphon. Now the price of the homemade sparkling water is reasonable – about 58 roubles (10 cents), and after refilling the big balloon it will cost only 0.51 rouble! (1 cent). And that’s a reasonable price.
