I was able to easily load the stock tune from my Livernois MyCalibrator device back into the Chevy SS. Tim Haines then street tuned the Chevy SS from scratch, which took approximately 4 hours of driving, stopping, building files to flash the PCM, then driving some more. I was also experiencing a slow internet connection from my computer so that added to the time. I drove normal, stop and go, and some pulls as well. He also tuned the transmission to auto upshift when in manual modes M1, M2, M3, to M4. He was able to tune out some of the cam surge as well. Tim Haines said that cam surge will always be there, but he was able to make adjustments so that the RPMs were not drastically dipping.

After street tuning the Red SS with Tim Haines, he coordinated with Joe Simpson of Tempest Racing to use his Mainline hub dyno. Tim and Joe have worked together before on several Chevy SS vehicles local to my area all of who I know personally. Finishing the tune on the dyno gives Tim the chance to dial in the car even more while eliminating some of the variables on the road to get the best power from my Red SS.

Overall the #holdencommodore drives great, feels good, pulls smooth. While I enjoyed the ease of use of the Livernois tune, the custom tune by Tim Haines on my Chevy SS is fantastic, I highly recommend working with him!
