This triedandtrue, hardworkin' standby is not the least bit fancy and needs no fanfare. The Maxwell Street Polish is about as simple as it gets — a healthy cut of savory, grilled Polish sausage plopped in a sandwich roll and buried under yellow mustard, grilled onion, and a jumbo sport pepper. It's not meant to be admired, but rather to be jammed into your face and quickly become a happy memory.
