Hi everyone! Today I'll be showing you how to make a DIY chicken plush out of a fuzzy sock. This is a great beginner project for people who know how to needle felt and are looking to get into making sock plushies. Sewing with fuzzy socks is really forgiving because of how stretchy they are and the fluff on them hides seams really well, so they're great for people with not that great sewing skills. (like me :) ) Plus, chickens are AWESOME, so why not give it a try?

Here's the full materials list:

One white fuzzy sock
Something to mark the fabric with
Needle and thread
Fabric shears
Toy stuffing
Needle felting wool in red and yellow
Needle felting needles
Punch tool (optional)
Something for the eyes (beads, super glue and flatbacked eyes, embroidery thread, yarn, etc.)
These materials can be found at your local craft store or online.
