Chilean Fjords Strait of Magellan and Cape Horn With Steve Evans

Steve Evans Travel

Let's visit the Chilean Fjords, Strait of Magellan, and Cape Horn. Must see destinations.

I'm Steve, and over the past decade, I've traveled to more than 100 countries, hundreds of cities, and all seven continents. My destination videos will highlight my journey. If you want to see what cities across the world look like outside overscripted and filtered videos, you've come to the right place.

There are several reasons you may find my destination videos different from the thousands of others out there. I'm not a video editor, voice artist, sound engineer, or photojournalist. Although I spent 25 years working in the travel industry, my global travel had nothing to do with my work. It was a personal quest for me to experience countries, people, cultures around the world. Next, I'm a little bit older than most YouTube travelers. Ok, maybe a little bit is a stretch. I realize my younger viewers will find this hard to understand, but you see things differently in you're over 45. There are no GoPro videos of me jumping off a cliff, swimming with sharks, or racing cars. Yes, that all was all fun when I was younger, but this journey was about seeing the real world. With that said, there are pictures of me hanging off a rockwall by one hand on my 50th birthday.

I set out to experience authentic, local culture, not tourist traps and souvenir shopping markets. For each of my destination travel videos, I'll provide practical tips and recommendations on the sights, sounds, and tastes that shouldn't be missed. Whenever possible, I'll provide links, to what I discuss, in the comment area. Hopefully, my videos offer a base to start your journey or give a realistic glimpse of life in other countries.

As we journey around the world, I'm confident you'll soon realize, people are people. When we remove borders, politics, and flags, we're not all that different.
