Over the weekend, The Philippines says that China's largest coastguard vessel anchored in Manila's exclusive economic zone in the South China Sea. The ship known as the "monster" is believed to be bigger than a football field. The Philippine coastguard warned the vessel. "It's an intimidation on the part of the China Coast Guard,"
"We're not going to pull out and we're not going to be intimidated," a Philippine official said. This comes as Japan and the Philippines signed a defence agreement. The pact promises to boost Manila's deterrence against Beijing in the South China Sea. Palki Sharma tells you more.
