In the third match of the FIVB Volleyball Women´s Junior World Championship Peru 2011 held Sunday at Lima, China beat Dominican Republic 2523, 2521, 2523. Both teams entered the contest 20 in Pool D already qualified for the top eight second round, but today China finishes the first round atop the standings as the match was played at Eduardo Dibos Coliseum.

The top scorer of the winning team was Qi Wang with 17 points, next to Zhou Yang with 15 points (she had been one of the top scorers in the other two matches that China played). The top scorer of Dominican Republic was Elizabeth Martinez with 13 points, next to Marianne Fersola and Ana Binet with 10 points each.
