Khanabadosh

Chitta Katha is situated in Shounter valley Kahshmir at the altitude of 4,100m.
It is considered as the most beatiful trek of Pakistan. You will get to experience lush greenry, medows, all colors of flowers and waterfalls everywhere.

Location: Shounter Valley, Azad Kashmir
Elevation: 14,000ft (4,100m) mountain ⛰
Difficulty level: Moderate ‍♀
Trekking time: 9.5 hours ‍♀
Number of Days: 3 ☀
Expense: 24k Islamabad to Islamabad

I started my journey from Karachi. I took Kainat buss service. It costed me 3,500 to reach Islamabad. The service was good and comfortable. 2 times meal were also provided.

Then I spent one night at Traveler's home space Islamabad (Female backpackers hostel). The place was comfy and clean. Bunk beds were available and charges per bed were 1250rs.

We finally left for Chitta katha lake from Islamabad.

Day 1: We stayed at Jagran Resort. It was extremely beautiful. The rooms were clean and food was delicious.

Day 2: We left Jagran. Took a short break at Kel and switched our vehicles from hiace to Jeep. We spent that night at Houz (1st camping site)
Time from Jagran to Kel: 2.5 hours
Time from Kel to Houz: 3.5 hours

Day 3: We started our trek towards deck 2. It took us 3.5 hours to reach there. If you're going to stay at Deck 2 and not going to lake in one go, I recommend you to attempt this trek slowly. As the views during the trek are mesmerizing and you'll be having enough time to reach at the camping site.

Day 4: We started our trek towards Chitta katha lake at 8pm. It took us 6 hours to reach at the lake. The trek was tough yet refreshing. You'll find water streams, waterfalls and lush greenery during the trek.

Day 5:
We returned back to Houz (our 1st camping site) . We decided to explored spoon lake (45min jeep ride from Houz to spoon lake). Spent our last night in camping pods at Sharda. That's how our journey in the mountains came to end and we got back to our monotonous city life!

I hope you find this helpful.
