Chopped my leg! Chopped wood too + Green Ash handle verdict: My Axe Cordwood Challenge 2023 results

This video includes a photo of a bad cut at 03:38 so skip part that if you would rather not see it. This videos is a review of my second year doing the Axe Cordwood Challenge, especially how I ended up with my axe glancing into my shin and some reminders about axe safety.

This year I chopped 2.5 cords, mostly using one axe with a Green Ash (**Fraxinus pennsylvanica**) handle to see if it could stand up to hard use. I go into some aspects of Ash that can make it more or less suitable for axe handles. I also break out my adze and timber auger to make a frame for the cordwood.
