Have we known that we were going to be doing this contract since midsummer? Yes. Did they give us the seal of approval to wear our own costumes for the show? Also yes. Then how on Earth did I wind up juggling daylong rehearsals with panic sewing for our opening night? .... you'll have to watch to find out

I want to be very clear about something, though, that maybe didn't come across as strongly in the video as in real life: the company we're working for made it clear that our comfort and safety was priority #1, that we could use our own costumes if we weren't comfortable with their options, and that they would like to continue to explore options to more fully integrate us aesthetically into the show, but that the most important thing was our safety (and we appreciated that)!!
