This is a semiscale model of the Cierva C2 autogyro. The full size one was not capable of flight due to its rigid rotor. Mine has a flex plate rotor head and direct control (roll only). Perhaps I will try lateral control by the differential action of the divided elevator (as intended for the real C2) in the near future.
