Landing at London City Airport (LCY / EGLC) on a Cityjet Avro RJ85 after a short flight from Amsterdam, with stunning views over London on the approach.

After flying on Garuda Indonesia's 777 from London Gatwick, I had booked my return flight with Cityjet so I could fly on yet another new aircraft type that I had been wanting to fly on for some time.

This was my second flight with Cityjet, my previous experience with them being on a Fokker 50 from Rotterdam earlier this year and once again I found this flight to be rather average. The difference between the Garuda and Cityjet crew was very noticeable, a complete lack of enthusiasm and energy from this Cityjet crew.

Whilst the flight wasn't bad by any means and the service was efficient with regular updates from the flightdeck, I expected a more welcoming service from the crew, it doesn't take much to smile! As for the aircraft, 33 seating is too much in this small aircraft and the seats are not wide enough to be comfortable!

This has to be one of my favourite approaches!
