Center of this map is open to attack from four directions making snowball strategy a lot harder, but also center contains colossal amounts of strategic resources of all types, so with huge risks whoever controlling it gaining significant production bonuses as well as the opportunity to choose the direction for his own attack. Needless to say, when someone conquers his home region, it is only the beginning of a thorny path to victory, which is formed by combining of diplomacy, science, economics and the military strength in right proportions. All the final superpowers will have a great history behind them, but which empire will be the greatest and stand the ultimate test of time will be decided only in the battle of crossroads.
