Gravity
According to Newton
Every object in this universe attracts every other object with a certain force.
The force with which two objects attract each other is called gravitational force or gravity.

Universal law of Gravitation
Given by Newton also known as Newton’s law of gravity.
Everybody in the universe attracts every other body with a force which is directly proportional to the product of their masses and inversely proportional to the square of the distance between them.

Force between two bodies is directly proportional to the product of their masses.
I.e. F ∝ m1m2
The force between two bodies is inversely proportional to the square of the distance between them.
F ∝ 1/r2
Combining both equations:
F ∝ m1m2/r2

G = Universal gravitational constant

This formula is applicable anywhere in this universe and is a mathematical expression of universal law of gravitation.
S.I unit of G
G = (f x r2)/m1 x m2
G = Nm2/kg2
Value of G = 6.67 x 1011 Nm2kg2 .
