In this edition of #thedailydoug, I'm taking a deeper look at A Change is Gonna Come by Sam Cooke. Of course, I've heard this iconic song several times, and I'm including it now as part of our monthlong celebration of Black History Month in the US. I was pleasantly reminded of the beautiful arrangement and lush orchestrational support...as well as Sam's iconic vocals. I also spent some time reminding myself of the inspiration for him writing the song as well as his tragic death at the age of 33. His music remains important. I hope you enjoy my look at this song.
