Souls can get stuck for various reasons, usually it is due to their fear of Divine judgment, guilt, unfinished business, confusion around the circumstances of their death, or due to their attachment to physical possessions they once had.

The energy they project can often be felt as cold, withdrawn, confused or depressed. Earthbound spirits aren't usually malicious in nature. If they make themselves known to us, it is often through our clair senses. They seek acknowledgement, sympathy and help.
