Wanted to upload a little homemade film that I`ve held on to for a long time. I found it in a Big Reel purchase many years ago, and was apparently made I believe between late 1973 and early 1974, it has a magnetic stripe on the soundtrack side but I`m not sure if anything was ever recorded on it. I just don`t have a real way to play back the film to listen if there`s a soundtrack on the film. I love when finding films like these where the photographer takes footage which gives away locations and a date when it was taken. The obvious clue as to it`s location is of The Ohio Bank in one shot, then there is a tiny clip of a theatre marquee that I found out is of The Embassy Theatre located at 709 Euclid Avenue. That fragmented clip in this film shows a double feature playing there. Enter The Dragon, and another title that I couldn't quite make out as I could only see the letters "ck eye", and a partial actors name "williams" when I paused the video . But after doing a little research I found out the title of the second feature was a film called Black Eye with an actor named Fred Williamson in the cast. Apparently the theatre was eventually demolished to make way for the Natl. City Bank Building. But in the theatres waning years it showed martial arts double features and action films. So this validates the titles listed on the marquee. Hope you like the film. By the way, I played the film back at silent speed while transferring it because everything looked like it moved at a proper pace at that speed. Anybody from Ohio recognize any of these businesses in this film from the 70`s?
