Magnum Force is an American neonoir action thriller movie from 1973. It is the second movie with Clint Eastwood as bad cop Harry Callahan, after Dirty Harry (1971). Ted Post, who had previously collaborated with Eastwood on Rawhide and Hang 'Em High, directed the movie. John Milius and Michael Cimino wrote the script. Cimino and Eastwood later worked together on Thunderbolt and Lightfoot. Lalo Schifrin wrote the music for the movie. David Soul, Tim Matheson, and Robert Urich all make cameos in this movie early on. The longest of the five Dirty Harry movies, at 123 minutes, this one is the longest.
