We drove past this yard and noticed it was pretty overgrown so we stopped to talk to the neighbor to see what the story was. He told us that it has been sitting empty for about a year and agreed it could definitely use some attention. We told him we would make it look good again and got to work. We thought it would be just like any other yard until we got to the back and that’s where we ran into trouble when out popped a copperhead snake right next to my mower. These are pretty normal inhabitants of the state I live in but this was a little to close for my comfort, be sure to stick around to see that encounter as well as a surprise I got at the end from yet another snake!
