Hey all! This is my biggest bowl yet: a hexagonal salad bowl, with an epoxy resin top! Machined on my Avid CNC router after hours and hours designing various things until I settled on this shape. The bowl is cherry wood with purple tinted epoxy, using mica powder. This was a really fun CNC woodworking project! I have about $64 worth of cherry into it..and $47 worth of epoxy stuff. So, about $110 in materials. I plan to make it available for sale...Probably around $220$250 to cover my costs and some of my time. I have a weeks worth of work into this thing off and on...probably 20+ hrs... so I'll probably get paid $7 an hour for it, if someone buys it (UPDATE: This bowl is sold!)
