Coal Tower is one of the 5 maps in the Macmillan Estate realm, its a medium sized map with a decent main building! The main building is not one that has 5 gen cookie cutter loops, but there are cookie cutter loops there that can waste a lot of the killers time!

Of the Macmillan Estate Common tiles, the most interesting one here is the square water tower. It seems to be one of the best counters to Nurse in the game, and definitely the best on Macmillan Estate Maps (although the catwalks on Ironworks can be a pain)

Shame Rock has some good uses on this map as well! Not only are there 2 ways to get down shame rock without any stagger, but also Shame Rock can be connected to any window that is close enough to eliminate the stagger! You can push this principle further and actually get the running vault! The prompt for running vault is visible while you are in the air, and you have to hit it before you land, because if you don't you will stagger when you hit the ground, stopping you from the running vault, and forcing you into a medium drop vault which will cancel the stagger still, but will not allow the distance a fast vault would have.

This same principle can be applied to the main building (minus the running vault). You will always get one window at the bottom of Coal Tower, it will either be the stairs window, or the drop vault window.

Stairs window is a very strong window by itself on the first floor, without having to run up the stairs to make it stronger. There is also a pallet likely to spawn in front of the stairs window, which both makes the pallet stronger, and the stairs window stronger. Utilizing the Drop Vault on this window is a bit tricky, since the killer can double back down the stairs and hit you while you are coming through the window with a medium vault, and before you can medium vault back through the window on the other side. Because of this, I believe this window is best used by staying on the first floor.

The Drop Vault window is the exact opposite. This window is only strong until the doors on the first floor are broken. Once both doors are broken, it is basically a shortwall window with no pallet. The secret to this window is going upstairs. You run to the opening above the window, walk over the edge, turn around while holding the run button, and spamming the vault button. This will cut your stagger out and allow an immediate medium vault. This window is much safer to do this since the stairs is at the other corner of the Coal Tower.

The crates on the upstairs can also not only be used to hide behind, but also as an object to loop around, and connect to the downstairs stairs window if you have it.
