In a remarkable act of bravery, the U.S. Coast Guard rescued a 55yearold blind hiker and his guide dog from the rugged trails of southern Oregon. Stranded for days in extreme heat, the hiker was incapacitated by heat exhaustion, and his friend, who left to seek help, struggled due to the remote location and lack of cell service.
