In August of 2024, Otto and I travelled to the Lake District in the northwest of England to start one of England‘s most famous longdistance hikes: Alfred Wainwright‘s Coast to Coast. 192 Miles across the country from West to East.
Come along for days 3 to 5 that saw us hiking from Borrowdale to Shap. We hiked through the heart of the Lake District, exploring beautiful and iconic areas like Grisedale Tarn, Ulleswater and Angle Tarn. I experienced my favorite moment of the trail, we had the perfect sunny weather and it almost seemed too good to be true. Just 12 hours later, things had changed drastically and we faced one of our hardest days ever….
