Indiana Jones and the Raiders of the Lost Ark (1981)

Raiders of the Lost Ark[b] is a 1981 American actionadventure film directed by Steven Spielberg from a screenplay by Lawrence Kasdan, based on a story by George Lucas and Philip Kaufman. Set in 1936, the film stars Harrison Ford as Indiana Jones, a globetrotting archaeologist vying with Nazi German forces to recover the longlost Ark of the Covenant which is said to make an army invincible. Teaming up with his tough former romantic interest Marion Ravenwood (Karen Allen), Jones races to stop rival archaeologist René Belloq (Paul Freeman) from guiding the Nazis to the Ark and its power.

We thought it would be fun for Coby to watch Indiana Jones in chronological order, which is basically just reversing Temple of Doom with Raiders of the Lost Ark but ultimately the films were made so close together it's hard to tell the difference in Harrison Ford's age. We can imagine Short Round is in boarding school getting an education so he can show up later in the Short Round Disney+ series.
