Over the last couple of years we have had the great pleasure of being in the jumpseat several times and for this video we thought about being a little more creative with it. Watch as the captain of a Boeing 737800 almost instinctively throttles up and down to keep the airplane on the correct speed and glide slope for landing. After touchdown, the speedbrakes deploy and the captain applies reverse thrust to slow the airplane. The first officer then calls out "60 knots" and the captains shuts down the reverse thrust.
