Cold Plunge In Winter Storm

Follow
Fuel Health & Wellness

I'm taking the plunge – literally! I have been utilizing the cold plunge in the middle of winter with the Nurecover portable ice bath. ❄

Why a Cold Plunge?
Cold plunging has been a gamechanger in wellness practices. Here's why:

Boosts Immune System: Chilling in cold water increases white blood cell count, helping your body fight illnesses.
Enhances Recovery: It's fantastic for muscle recovery postworkout, reducing inflammation and soreness. Although you need to be careful because if your goal is to improve muscle mass you want to wait 46 hours after the workout otherwise you can blunt the body's response to growing muscle. I prefer to do it before a workout first thing in the morning.
Improves Circulation: Cold water immersion stimulates blood flow, enhancing overall cardiovascular health.
Increases Energy: The cold shock invigorates your body, leaving you feeling energized and refreshed.
Mental Resilience: Regular cold plunges can help build mental toughness and reduce stress.

About Nurecover:
