It started with the desire to do something around the Candomblé traditions. Not filming a candomblé ritual, but organizing something else, in the space of candomblé in this case, in the beautiful terreiro XAMBA. I was in Recife, in the north east of Brazil, staying at Alessandra's place. We decided to bring a lot of her musical friends to perform and improvise an hour of religous songs. Here is the result of our own ritual.
