finally made this 5 months after all results came out, but here is my college decisions & IB (international baccalaureate) results reaction video!

literally took me hours to edit and i didn't want to make the vid too long but other notes i wanted to add:
• i literally dk how people are applying to 20+ schools 14 was so stressful and only 7 of them were in the US... def start ur essays as early as possible (i did not do this)
• even though northwestern was my fifth choice, i really really love it here. the name of the college does not matter as much as the community you'll find and experience you'll have (US is def super different from the UK or HK) so i really recommend applying to colleges based on more than just name brand, make sure you'd actually enjoy the people, the weather etc!
• as an international student from hong kong, i didn't have many classmates also applying to the US and i relied A LOT on reddit and youtube to figure out how to write my common app and supplementary essays.
• for clarification just bc i hate my LSE reaction i didn’t realise it was a reach school (~5% acceptance rate for psychology) until way after i applied bc i saw the 38 IB points needed and thought that made it a target.
