This video features Cologne Bonn airport arrivals and departures from the terminal viewing deck where the main runway and movements are visible.

Filmed freehand using a 4K Sony AX53 video camera.

Filmed between 1 pm and 9pm on a Sunday afternoon and evening. Sunday’s seem to be best for freight during daylight hours. However during the week it’s very busy through the night. It was around 30°C on the day of filming which is why you will see a lot of heat haze across the airport.

The viewing area is easy to find via stairs or lift and is open pretty much all day.
