The Colorado Consolidated Rail Lines is an excellent example of an elevated twotrack layout. This layout allows mature landscaping, including bushes and small trees, to be part of the view. Additionally, the elevated system allows for the trains to run simultaneously without the danger of colliding and eliminates the use of turnouts.
Digammas are placed at various locations, allowing for change based on the season. Murals on the wall continue the vision of depth and a continuance of the overall theme of the layout.
One train is headed by a Big Boy engine, another by a Mogul, and a third by a logging engine.
