We will do a deep dive into (a) strategies to load data leveraging minimal logging with concurrency (b) identifying/solving performance issues with queries (c) realworld best practices of keeping columnstore humming along.

Presenter Sunil Agarwal is a seasoned professional with 30+ years of industry experience in databases, Sunil has worked as a developer/lead in the relational database engine technology, a tool designer/lead building backup/restore tools, and as an application developer/manager enabling B2B commerce and elearning. He has been in his role as a Principal Program Manager for SQL Server for the last 12+ years. Sunil has authored many technical white papers/blogs and has coauthored two books in SQL Server and presented database technologies in numerous national/international conferences. He enjoys teaching and has taught introductory programming courses at the University of Rhode Island and the University of Colorado.
