Loneliness can have significant negative effects on the wellbeing of older adults, but with awareness and support, we can work towards addressing this issue. Seniors may experience loneliness due to factors such as loss of social connections, physical limitations, communication barriers, technology gaps, changes in living arrangements and psychological factors.
