In this video we're repairing a concrete floor before we install our epoxy flake coating. The first repair we had to do was replace the old rusted garage floor drain with a new stainless steel one.
The trick was not doing too much damage to the existing concrete floor to keep the repairs to a minimum.
Luke and I sawed and chipped out the old drain then shaved the concrete to fit the new floor drain.
We epoxied the new drain in place and secured it using Bondo.
Then we ground everything flush to create a brand new looking floor drain in place so we could proceed with the epoxy flake floor.
