The BEADbacked Connect Illinois Round 4 will award $1 billion in grants to connect all unserved and underserved Illinois households to broadband. (New to the BEAD program? Watch our BEAD 101 webinar here.)

These webinars will offer deep dives into various elements of the BEAD program, including topics such as:

Fixed amount subawards
Letter of Credit waiver
Illinoisspecific labor requirements (Illinois Works, Prevailing Wage)
NTIA match waiver
Eligibility, scoring, and application evaluation

Webinars will specifically highlight concepts that differ from previous rounds of Connect Illinois, and provide a space for Q&A, as well as feedback for the IOB as we finalize subgrantee selection process details.

Target Audience:
o Entities who can deploy broadband service and are considering applying to Connect Illinois Round 4 (BEAD)
o Contractors and labor organizations who will contribute to awarded broadband deployment projects
o Municipal governments who want to stay in the know about broadband coming to their communities, or are considering leading or contributing to a BEAD application
